Spring in the Portland, OR Area

Spring comes in waves of colors and lasts quite a long time.  First we see the beautiful pink blossoms of the Italian Prunes, and followed in succession by the Cherries, Forsythia, Dogwood, and native Hawthorn.  Flowers start a little later than the Prunes with the rhododendrons and azaleas adding their many hues to the tulips, daffodils, irises, dahlias etc.
