Decoherence and Consistent Histories Reference List

This is a list of references in the field of decoherence and consistent histories. This list is definitely not comprehensive or complete; it consists largely of papers that I have cited or encountered in the course of research, and should be considered as ``under construction.'' I plan to update this list over time; please email me at tbrun@ias.edu with any suggested corrections or additions. If I've failed to list you, or listed you incorrectly, please don't feel discriminated against; let me know about it!

Please note that the subject has been interpreted fairly broadly in compiling this list. These papers are by no means all from the consistent histories point of view; those, indeed, constitute a minority of the papers listed here. Some of these papers actually promote alternative quantum theories. They are included here due to the similarity between their fundamental ``collapse mechanism'' and the process of phenomenological decoherence. Your mileage may vary.

If I have time, I may add links to papers in the Los Alamos Archives or elsewhere; I may also add titles or other information to the references that lack them; but for the present, what you see is what you get. I hope that it is of some use.

Much of this material was collected using the BIDS system (Bath, UK) and the SPIRES online database (SLAC, Stanford, California). These papers are arranged alphabetically by author. The fact that my name starts with ``B'' has nothing to do with this.
