Synopsis

When Jingjing's parents get divorced, he must move in with a grandfather he has never met. Their unfamiliarity breeds conflict, until the two realize thay have a common connection as powerful as blood: their passionate love of traditional Chinese opera. The film was awarded the Special Prize of the Jury at the 1998 Hawaiian International Film Festival.
