Synopsis

Based on an award-winning novel written by a 16-year old high school student, Flower Season-Rain Season captures the true spirit of Shenzhen (China's first "Special Economic Zone") as seen through the eyes of its teenagers. The group of typical teens deal with modern issues such as divorce and dating, as well as the timeless complexities of competition and loyalty, painting a vivid picture of contemporary Chinese youth.
