  • City of Los Angeles: This the web page of the City of LA founded in 1781. It has various information on the budget, ongoing charter reform and projects for the year 2000 as well as information on economics and demographics.
  • LA County Online: This is the web page of the County of Los Angeles, which includes general information on county departments, board of supervisors and the proposed budget. It also has links to other government organizations.
  • LA Housing Department: This is the web page of the Housing Department, which includes selected demographic and housing data as well as information on various housing projects, programs and proposals. It also has useful information for renters, home owners and buyers, apartment owners, and developers.
  • Los Angeles Economic Development Corporation (LAEDC): This is the web page of LAEDC, a private, non-profit organization established in 1981 with the mission to attract, retain and grow businesses and jobs in the Los Angeles region. The web page includes a description of the programs of LAEDC, LA County Profile and Southern California Statistics.

It provides information on its divisions, industrial and commercial development, workforce development, financial management and human resources.
  • Los Angeles Department of Environmental Affairs: This is the web page of the Environmental Affairs Department which was established by ordinance on June 29, 1989 to establish a capability within the City to address environmental issues in a coordinated and centralized manner. The site provides a reference guide that provides information that can assist in the preparation and review of environmental impact analyses.
