Dr. Belinda Yuen is a Chartered Town Planner and Senior Lecturer of Urban Planning in the School of Building and Real Estate, National University of Singapore. Dr. Yuen's academic qualifications include a B.A. in Geography, an M.A. in Town and Regional Planning from the Univesity of Sheffield in Great Britain, and a Ph.D. in Environmental Planning from the University of Melbourne, Australia. Dr. Yuen has published books and papers on various aspects or urban planning and development in Singapore including its planning system, planning law, industrial estate development, housing, transportation, and open space use and planning. Besides teaching and research, Belinda Yuen is currently a Council Member of the Singapore Institute of Planners and the ASEAN Association for Planning and Housing (Singapore) and Member of the Feedback Group on Housing, Ministry of Community Development, Singapore.
