Dr. Gina Meng is on the planning faculty at China's prestigious Beijing University, where she also earned her doctorate, and was recently a visiting scholar at the University of California at Berkeley. Dr. Meng specializes in regional planning and development issues in China and has worked actively in that capacity with the World Bank and other international agencies. Some of her recent research focuses on regional development planning in the Shenzhen Special Economic Zone near Hong Kong and along the famous Yang-tze River. She has been a member of PRCUD for several years.
