Si Ming Li is professor and head, Department of Geography, Hong Kong Baptist University. He obtained his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin (Madison), Master of Art from the University of Alberta, and Doctor of Philoshopy from Queen's University, Canada, all in Geography. His research interests include urban land use and housing, urbanization and regional development, with a focus on Hong Kong and China. Included in his list of oublications are two books, four edited volumes, and some fifty articles published in refereed journals and as book chapters. Currently he is working on a project entitled "China's emerging housing market", whihc is funded by the Reseach Grants Council of Hong Kong. |
