As the research director of the Department of Urban Management at Seoul Development Institute, Dr. Yeong-Joo Hahn has been an expert in the fields of urban and regional planning as well as urban management for twenty years. With a Ph.D. from Syracuse University, Dr. Hahn has been a cheif architect of national land planning in Korea. Many of you will remember Dr. Hahn as the indefatigable organizer of the 1996 PRCUD Annual Conference in Seoul. Hahn Yeong-Joo is currently developing policies both to promote producer service industries and to vitalize venture business in Seoul. His future projects entail the investigation of the impact of information technology on regional economic development as well as issues of governmental privatization and reform. |
