As a planner and landscape architect, Sheila Brady manages resource management, land planning, and public open space projects. The Los Vaqueros Watershed Resource Management Plan provides for resource conservation and public recreation within a 20,000-acre reservoir watershed in Northern California. For the Penn Mine Restoration Project Ms. Brady is working with numerous regulatory agencies to restore and enhance vegetation and wildlife habitat on the site of an abandoned copper mine located in northwestern Calaveras County in California. Sheila Brady is also directing preparation of a Master Plan for the Fitzgerald Marine Reserve and the newly acquired Pillar Point Marsh on the north-central coast of California. Visitor use at this regionally significant park is 135,000 visitors a year and growing. The focus of the plan is to determine appropriate levels and management of visitor access, parking and use to help restore and maintain the health of the biodiverse intertidal zone, upland vegetation and wetland/riparian areas, and to minimize impacts on the surrounding neighborhoods. With five offices throughout California, LSA now delivers full environmental and planning services to public and private sector clients. |
