The Peer Leadership
Consultant Program is designed to enhance student leadership
opportunities as well as provide services, programs and resources
necessary for the positive growth and development of our students and
their organizations.
This program enables students to
become more connected with USC by effectively utilizing institutional resources,
offering opportunities for students to connect academic life with out-of-class
experiences, and providing experiences that will stimulate students' cognitize,
intellectual, personal and social growth.
The program utilized student
consultants who provide a variety of educational experiences and services to
individual students, faculty/staff advisors and student organizations. The
consultants will also serve as Portfolio Advisors and as Student Affairs
liaisons for student organizations.
The Peer Leadership Consultants
Program benefits students, faculty and staff by serving the university and
surrounding community, supporting the efforts of the Leadership Collaborative,
adhering to the concepts of USC's Leadership Model and working closely with the
Leadership, Service, and Scholars department. In addition, the program's
expansive nature lends itself to collaborative efforts with many other services
and departments at USC.
