PHIL 423 The Critical Philosophy of Kant
McCann Spring 2003
Announcements
1. Having heard no objections to the proposal to have the third (long) paper serve also as a take-home final for the course, we will make the change. Please submit the long paper to me no later than 4:00 p.m. May 8, 2003; you may place the paper in my mailbox in MHP 113. The grade for the third paper will also count as the final exam grade (i.e. the grade on the third paper will count for 60% of the course grade). I will also calculate an alternative course grade with the following weights assigned: 25% for the first paper, 25% for the second paper, 50% for the third paper (i.e. combined third paper and final exam). The higher grade resulting from these two calculations will be the course grade assigned.
2. The topics for the third paper can be found here. You may also, if you wish, write a long paper, following the directions set out in the list of topics for the third paper, on any one of the topics on the final exam sheet, which is here.
3.Keep watching this space for more announcements.

On both Friday May 9 and Monday May 12 I have all day strategic planning retreats, and so will not be able to be contacted. I hope this does not inconvenience anyone.
