The Center for Research in Education Finance (CREF) is the only externally funded research center in the School of Education. At the present time, CREF projects include the Finance Center of the Consortium for Policy Research in Education, one of the U.S. Department of Education's educational research centers, and a Mellon Foundation funded study of resource allocation patterns in schools.
