Matters: Patriarchy and the Challenge of Feminism (University of
Pennsylvania Press and Manchester University Press, 2006). A forum on this book appears in the Journal of Women's History 20:2 (2008), pp. 130-154. The forum includes comments by Iris Berger, Leila J. Rupp, Ulrike Strasser, and Judy Tzu-Chun Wu, as well as my reply.
In March 2009, this book was the subject of a bloggers' roundtable at Notorious Ph.D., Historiann, Tenured Radical, Another Damned Medievalist, and again at Notorious Ph.D. It was also simultaneously discussed at Magistra et Mater.
