| Before accepting a full-time teaching position at USC, Ira taught courses in marketing, sales, management, and business systems for major universities around the world including UCLA, Copenhagen Business School, Helsinki School of Economics, California State University at Northridge, and Pepperdine. He has also taught courses and provided seminars for many large corporations and professional organizations. | |||

This complemented the awards he received as Marketing Professor of the Year from Gamma Sigma Alpha, Professor of Excellence from Delta Sigma Pi, and Professor of Exemplary Performance from Alpha Lambda Delta. | |||

| Professor Kalb holds a Masters degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science degree in Bio-Engineering Systems from UCLA, where he graduated with honors. He was elected President of the UCLA Graduate School of Management Students Association for the 1972 academic year. He also attended the Royal College of Art in London. | |||
