'Managing the Global' Book

Two academic fora, the first in Los Angeles, and the second in London, will be used to initiate, develop and synthesize a set of chapters for a proposed edited volume, tentatively entitled 'Managing the Global.'

The papers will be written as early working drafts of potential chapters for an edited book. Position papers will be used as material to draw from in the development of any journal or book publications, such as in suggesting an additional chapter or topic that should be treated. Presentations and discussion will focus on developing a shared understanding of the topic, and developing plans for the further development of the proposed book, an outline of chapters, and the identification of gaps that need to be addressed by participants or invited contributors.
