Biographical information for Jim Bower
As a member of the Getty's new Office of Strategic Partnerships, Jim Bower
develops alliances for the Getty with cultural and educational institutions,
government agencies, professional associations, and the private sector to
extend the Getty vision of support for visual arts research, education, and
conservation. From 1987-1999 he managed a variety of projects for the Getty
Information Institute, including data standards for cultural heritage
documentation, cultural networking initiatives, and collaborations with key
partners in the cultural and technology sectors.
