ICA, NCA Planning Preconference Tech Workshop in Rome

ICA will cooperate with the National Communication Association in a meeting to be held in Rome, Italy, July 15-18, 1998. Focus of the event will be the importance and impact of changing communication technologies, especially as they affect social systems and organizational communication.

Calls for participation will be issued by ICA and NCA when more complete details have been established.

ICA's 48th annual conference will be held July 20-24, 1998, in Jerusalem. The cosponsorship of the preconference event is designed to assist members of both organizations in attending both events.

Efforts will be made to arrange "layover" fares through a travel agent for those participating in both events, and negotiations are underway for round-trip airfares. Those will be announced as soon as possible.
