Heather M. Russell

Spring 2013

I am currently a non-tenure track assistant professor in the Department of Mathematics at University of Southern California. Before that, I spent two years as a VIGRE post-doc at Louisiana State University. I received my Ph.D. in 2009 from The University of Iowa.

Next fall, I will start a new position as Tenure-Track Assistant Professor in the Mathematics and Computer Science Department at Washington College in Chestertown, MD.

Last summer, I was a faculty mentor at the CSU Channel Islands REU. Our group got some great results on the combinatorics of sl4 webs. I am currently teaching an introductory differential geometry course at USC.

Above, there are some links to information about my professional background, my research and teaching experience, and a little bit about my interests outside of mathematics. Please feel free to contact me if you have further questions.
