Title: Broken fibrations on 4-manifolds

Abstract: Theorem: Every map from an n-manifold is homotopic to a broken fibration, and any two such are related by a simple set of moves. The talk will explain the terms in the theorem, give reasons why the theorem may be useeful, describe its antecedents and relations to symplectic 4-manifolds, and maybe more.
