The reading packet contains the following cases in the reading on communication ethics by Jaksa and Pritchard. For each case, answer each of the following questions. Please type you answers.
 
Case#1: The Price of a Degree, pp. 117-118

 1.  Using the criteria for moral justification in the Jaksa and Pritchard reading, evaluate the ethical choices of each of the following: Mr. Fluent, Mr. Fluent's son, President Winston, and Derek Yerby.

2.  As president of the faculty senate, what should you do?
 

Case #2: A Question of Candor, pp. 120-122

Answer the first three questions posed at the end of the case.

 
Case #3: Cheers, pp. 218-219

Answer all five questions posed at the end of the case.

 
Case #4: Drinking in the Workplace, pp. 219-220

1.  Part 1 of the case shows that John is wondering whether "Andy's drinking will get in the way of meeting his responsibilities." What, if anything, should John do at this point?

2.  Part 2 of the case shows that John has been approached by Harriet Hillman for an informal recommendation on Andy. How should he respond?
