In chapter 2, Andews and Herschel describe the history of organizational communication and falling into roughly four eras or "schools": Classical, Human Relations, Systems, and Cultural. Each of these schools makes different assumptions about human nature, about how organizations function, and about what are the most appropriate communication practices.
For each school bring in a creative product (picture, drawing, poem, film clip, sound clip, etc.) that illustrates one of more of the key assumptions of that school. For each creative product write a sentence or two that describes which assumption is reflected in the creative product.
