As a writer...

Richard Fliegel is the author of mystery novels and thrillers published by Bantam, Simon & Schuster, Chelmsford Press, and Open Road Media. He has written for television, including "Star Trek: the Next Generation," and co-created a pilot, "El Coyote," for Disney and ABC Network Television. He has also penned screenplays, stage plays, stories, articles, and poems.

Dr. Fliegel can be found in the Dornsife College of Letters, Arts and Sciences at the University of Southern California (USC), where he serves as Adjunct Professor of English and Associate Dean for Undergraduate Programs, overseeing university-wide programs and developing interdisciplinary curricula.
