Preprints Available
Most of my recent preprints are available of the ArXiv preprint server. Here is
a direct link.
Here are a few things which are not available on ArXiv.

The hyperbolic revolution: from topology
to geometry, and back, in
A century of advancing mathematics (S. F. Kennedy,
D. J. Albers, G. L. Alexanderson, D. Dumbaugh, F. A. Farris, D.
B. Haunsperger and P. Zorn eds.), 3–13, Math. Assoc.
America, Washington, DC, 2015. PDF

 New
Geometric Splittings of Classical Knots, and the
Classification and
Symmetries of Arborescent Knots, with Larry Siebenmann.
This is
the revised version of a famous unpublished manuscript, about
300 pages
in its current form. After 30+ years, it may be published as a
book reasonably soon (stay tuned!). PDF

Closed curves on surfaces, monograph theoretically in
preparation, although it hasn't moved much in recent years. This
is
still in a very incomplete and unpolished
state. PDF file (4 MB)
 Involutions et fibrés de
Seifert dans les variétés de dimension 3. This is
a scanned copy of my Thèse de
Troisième Cycle (1979), technically unpublished
(although
big parts of it appeared in more general form in the monograph
and
articles that I have written with Larry Siebenmann). I put it
here for
historical purposes; note the nice handwriting. PDF file (5.3 MB)
Older stuff:
Geometric Structures on 3manifolds, appeared in the
Handbook of Geometric Topology (R. Daverman, R. Sher
eds.),
Elsevier, 2002, pp. 93164.

Geodesic laminations on surfaces, survey article which
appeared in: Laminations and Foliations in Dynamics,
Geometry
and Topology (M, Lyubich, J. Milnor, Y. Minsky eds.),

Other items of possible interest:
Cent Mille Milliards de Poèmes by Raymond Queneau.
This
Plain TeX
file has a very crude randomizer which can typeset a new poem
every
minute. Assuming that the randomizer does not create too many
duplications and
that you do not waste too much time with futile activities such
as
sleeping,
this should enable you to read all the possible poems in a
little over
three million years. This definitely lacks the low tech charm of
the
original
book version (Gallimard, 1961), which can be bought from many
good
sources,
such as fnac.fr or amazon.fr .
