Dowell Myers, Ph.D.
is a professor in the School of Policy, Planning, and Development at the University of Southern California.
He is a demographer and urban planner who creates narratives to promote public understanding about pressing
issues that affect our common future. His research emphasizes the linkage of demographic data (census, surveys,
and projections) to trends in housing, workforce, education, taxpaying, voting, and immigration.
