FACADE T E C T O N I C S
Studio Handbook
The FACADE T E C T O N I C S Studio Handbook
is a
project to prepare a publication to assist architects, engineers, faŤade
designers, and advanced students.
The project was started in summer, 2011, and we hope to complete the
work by the end of 2012. Participating
authors have started to prepare chapters.
We are still seeking authors for a number of chapters. As of September 2011, more than 25
authors are signed up. We will need
between 60 and 75 authors to complete the project. Each chapter is densly formatted to
provide state-of-the-art information on a narrow topic related to the building
envelope. A few example topics are listed below. There are many additional chapters and
topics. Many of these topics are represented in the book by multiple chapters or
as subheadings of the main topic.
If you are interested in serving as a chapter author, please contact Douglas
Noble.
