I am broadly interested in design and analysis of statistical methods for large-scale data. In my research, I use and improve on techniques from various areas such as optimization, graphical models, statistics and machine learning. For more details, please see my publications.
Prior to joining USC, I spent a year as a CSoI postdoctoral fellow with worksite at Stanford University and UC Berkeley. I obtained my Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University in 2014 advised by Andrea Montanari.
