Seon Ho Kim is a computer scientist currently working in
the Integrated Media Systems Center at the University of Southern California.
He received his BS degree in Electronic Engineering
from the Yonsei University,
Seoul, Korea in 1986. He received his M.S. in
Electrical Engineering and
Ph.D. in Computer
Science from the University of
Southern California in 1994 and 1999 respectively. Between 1999 and 2010, he worked as a faculty member at University of Denver, Colorado, and University of the District of Columbia, Washington DC.
Dr. Kim's current research interest is on spatial database, GIS, multimedia systems, and mobile video management.
He is a senior member of IEEE and a member of ACM. He is also the president of KSEA-SC (Korean American Scientists and Engineers Association Southern California Chapter) and the president elect of KOCSEA (Korean Computer Scientists and Engineers in America).
